Property taxes in Eloy are increasing again.
The City Council approved the 2015-2016 fiscal year budget for the city of Eloy last week at a special public meeting, which included a slight increase in taxes for property owners within the city limits.
The primary property tax for the city of Eloy will increase from $114.84 to $117.01 on a home assessed at $100,000, assuming there is no change in the property valuation.
That’s an annual increase of $2.17.
Council is scheduled to adopt the primary property tax levy at the next city council meeting July 13 at 6 p.m.
