The government e-mail addresses of 19 Arizona state employees were among the 32 million that hackers claim to have stolen from cheating Website AshleyMadison.com and posted on the Internet.
Eleven of the e-mail addresses were for the Arizona Department of Corrections. Five have a Department of Economic Security addresses. And there was one each for the Arizona Corporation Commission, Department of Racing and Department of Administration.
It’s possible those employees did not register on the adultery site. The Website does not require email addresses to be verified so members could use another person’s email address to sign up and log onto Ashley Madison.
