Sustainability, or the extent to which communities and households can be self-supporting, often surfaces in community plans and in conversations with readers here.
But how sustainability-minded are the HOA communities in which many of us live?
Sustainability can take many forms, from a focus on “live, work, play” mixed-use developments to agritourism and community gardens. At the heart of it, sustainability means being more self-sufficient in our daily activities.
