Like many rural towns in Arizona, Coolidge has taken its fair share of flack for various reasons. Accusations of being boring, poor, dusty and more often gets thrown Coolidge’s way. Sometimes, they come from people who have lived in town for many year. But often, they come from those passing by, or even observing from a distance.
This is par for the course, something that is met with indifference from those inside the city. But after the latest accusation of low quality of life, Coolidge officials are ready to fight back.
The Website, roadsnacks.net, listed Eloy as the second-worst place to live, while Coolidge came in fifth. It ranked Phoenix suburb Gilbert as the best place to live.
After analyzing 94 of the state’s most populous areas (more than 5,000 people), the site produced a list of the 10 worst and five best places to live in Arizona.
Once it was finished bashing San Luis, the article called Eloy “a hot mess.”
