Fifty acres of land along Interstate 10 in the West Valley has been sold for $2 million

Scottsdale real estate executive Kernit Rankin purchased the land at 119th Avenue in Avondale via an entity called Avondale I-10 LLP. The seller was FNBN Spetcrum LLC out of Salt Lake City.

DTZ Vice Presidents Brian Rosella and Will French brokered the sale.

The land has more than 1,200 feet of frontage on the busy freeway link to Los Angeles.

Rankin is looking at future development on the property.

West Valley stretches along I-10 are home to large industrial parks. There also is some retail along the freeway.
