Phoenix asks for new bids for 100-year-old ‘Psycho’ building redevelopment

The city of Phoenix has issued a new request for proposals for redevelopment of the historic Barrister Place Building downtown.

The city wants to sell the 100-year-old building at Central Avenue and Jefferson Street for at least $2.28 million, according to city documents.

The building was featured in Alfred Hitchcock’s movie “Psycho” in 1960.
