(Editor’s note: Two of the five Pinal supervisors declined the use of a county car.)
Pima County Supervisors, who earn $76,000 a year, are allowed to drive a county car to and from work, and for personal use (just not to and from political functions.) Supervisor Ally Miller says that’s wrong. She told the News 4 Tucson Investigators she’s going to propose ending the practice at the Board of Supervisors meeting on Oct. 6.
“We really don’t need county cars,” Miller said.
