No new ballots in Oro Valley recall election, judge rules

Pima County Superior Court Judge Gus Aragon has ruled that although two Oro Valley recall candidates submitted invalid petitions, new ballots could not be reissued to voters because ballots had already been cast.

The ruling comes in a lawsuit brought by Oro Valley resident Don Bristow against recall election candidates Joseph Winfield and Doug Burke, whom Bristow claimed had submitted invalid petitions.
