The Phoenix City Council could vote Wednesday on a development deal and $400,000 worth of traffic signal improvements for a 1,200-worker, 47-acre new campus for W.L. Gore & Associates.
The medical and industrial manufacturer previously sought $30 million bond assistance from the city to finance its development projects. The north Phoenix development has been talked about for a number of years.
According to city documents, W.L. Gore plans to acquire about 47 acres at Canyon Crossroads, which is located at the northwest corner of Dove Valley Parkway and the future 31st Avenue, to construct approximately 682,000 square feet of office, research and manufacturing space at the site.
