Barrett-Jackson Classic Car Auction Co. shifting gears as demographics of car aficionados changing.
Craig Jackson, owner and CEO of the Scottsdale auction firm, said Generation X is now spending money on classic autos, and even some millennials with extra cash on hand.
“We have to cater to broad sections of demographics,” Jackson said. “The younger generation likes the super cars, like Ford GTs, Porsches, Ferraris and McLarens. They also like the ‘resto mods,’ the older cars renovated with modern technology.”
