Dennis Murrin knew what he wanted.
The 61-year-old from New York’s Long Island, who is planning his retirement, had been looking toward Arizona. With one son already living in Surprise and a second contemplating a move West, Murrin began in January searching the Web for homes in the Valley, when he came across a site for Four Seasons at the Manor, K. Hovnanian’s 140-unit development and the last brand-new residential project in Del Webb’s prototype planned active adult community that saw its boom in the 1960s and 70s.
