I got an e-mail from a reader who presumed (correctly) I might write about the Salt River wild horses again, now that a big reward is being offered for information about the shooting death of a horse called Dotty.
“Liberal twerps like you care more about animals than you do about people, don’t you?” he said.
What can I say?
In the case of some animals, and some people, that might be true.
But not in this case.
