A bill aimed at stopping a controversial $400 million controversial casino near Phoenix and north of University of Phoenix Stadium could be up for a fast track up or down vote in the U.S. House of Representative Monday.
The bill looks to stop new casinos in the Phoenix area until 2027.
But it is specifically aimed at the Tohono O’odham Nation’s planned West Valley Resort casino at 91st and Northern avenues.
