Arizona has never had much time for looking back. The newest state in the continental U.S. has gone through such a feverish pace of development that remembering our history takes a back seat to what seem to be more urgent needs.
But understanding the past isn’t a luxury. We’ll have a much better shot at solving today’s problems if we understand where they come from and how they were confronted in the past.
