Pima supervisors fund legal fight with state over cost transfers

The Pima County Board of Supervisors approved a contract amendment that allows the county to spend as much as $200,000 on legal fees in connection with its ongoing lawsuit against the state.

Supervisors, over the objection of Supervisor Ally Miller, voted to pay law firm Ballard Spahr up to $200,000 for legal services in the case the county filed to fight cost transfers the state Legislature made earlier this year.
