NEWS RELEASE

Queen Creek, AZ – Vice Mayor Julia Wheatley and Retired Fire Chief Van Summers to chair campaign.

Jeff Brown said “I’ve been so humbled and honored by the outpouring of support that I have received! As this campaign kicks off I am excited and looking forward to building on existing relationships, collaborating with new friends and neighbors and continuing the conversation that includes all the residents and business owners of Queen Creek. Our campaign is truly a collaborative effort… working towards implementing the collective vision of all stakeholders of the Town of Queen Creek.”

Queen Creek Vice-Mayor Julia Wheatley had this to say about two-term councilmember Jeff Brown:

“I am pleased to chair Jeff Brown’s campaign for reelection! What has impressed me most about Jeff’s service on Town Council is his continual outreach and accessibility to the residents of Queen Creek. His swift responses to all stakeholders and his commitment to transparent governance is well known throughout the community. He works diligently to ensure that every voice is heard. He approaches each issue with a common sense and practical approach which I find very refreshing! Mr. Brown is an advocate for small business and strong supporter of private property rights. A fiscal conservative, Jeff is stalwart in ensuring the rights of all by being very protective of our residents’ tax dollars.”

Van Summers, Retired Fire Chief and community leader said this about Brown’s candidacy:

“As Fire Chief for the Town of Queen Creek (retired), it was gratifying to be closely associated with public servants that were willing to give so much of their time and energy to promote the well-being of their friends, neighbors and fellow citizens. The unheralded leader of the Council during my time was Jeff Brown. His ability to analyze complex issues and create viable

solutions to difficult problems while concurrently facing many financial issues, during the last recession, is a reflection of his competency and communication skills. Public Safety has always been Jeff’s number one priority, and I know that the community will be once again profit from the presence of this honorable and caring Town Councilman.”

As the campaign moves into the fall/winter, Jeff Brown and his team will continue to meet voters, gain support and spread his message of business growth, fiscal responsibility, and limited government.
