In an attempt for more transparency between Eloy residents and City Council members, Robson Ranch resident Arthur Boren reserved a series of dates at the retirement community near the edge of town and invited all seven council members to drop by one at a time and answer questions and respond to concerns from citizens.
The most recent council member to participate, and only the second one to accept Boren’s invitation, was vice mayor Micah Powell on Sept. 24.
Council member J.W. Tidwell spoke to Robson residents in August. Boren said he has since rescinded his other reserved dates since no other council members replied to his invitation.
