City council members voiced concerns on how an excise tax proposed by the Pinal County Regional Transportation Authority might not benefit Casa Grande residents.
Pinal County Manager Greg Stanley presented an update on the RTA during a study session before the council’s Monday meeting.
Since the RTA was established in August, Stanley said its members have been gathering information from each of the county’s municipalities to decide which transportation projects they want voters to approve.
Stanley told the council projects that can boost economic development will be a priority for the RTA.
