Pinal board delves into housing for millennials

A common saying refers to the “cost of doing business.” In Pinal County, the Board of Supervisors is trying to figure out what that cost should be for new development.

At Wednesday’s board meeting, there was a work session to discuss proposed changes to the county’s development impact fees schedule.

But what is the cost of doing business with developers targeting millennials? That was one of the questions posed at the meeting.

When considering impact fees, the county has to find the right balance between collecting enough revenue to provide quality services to its residents while still encouraging developers to build and invest in the county.
