Huntington University has entered an eight-year lease with a private development company to take over a former day spa that will become the school’s branch campus in Peoria and the site of Arizona’s first full-fledge undergraduate degree program in digital media arts, school officials said Wednesday.
The eight-year agreement between the private liberal-arts college based in Huntington, Ind., and Arrowhead Equities, LLC, of Mesa, enables school officials to resume the process of establishing the campus off West Mariners Way and 83rd Avenue about a half mile south of Bell Road. The rear of the building fronts Loop 101.
