Arizona roads suffering from arteriosclerosis, says ADOT chief

The Arizona Department of Transportation is short $17.3 billion to maintain its road system, Director John Halikowski told the Senate Transportation and House Transportation and Infrastructure committees in a joint hearing at the legislature Jan. 19.

Halikowski focused on the global impact of the transportation system on the economy and what it means for Arizona.
