Report gives snapshots of Arizonans’ use of Airbnb, their earnings

If Gov. Doug Ducey had his way, there would be no — or few — changes to the way Arizona regulates “home sharing” through vacation rental companies that have recently surged in popularity.

A report released Thursday shows the economic impact of such businesses in Arizona. The average Airbnb host earns an average of $4,000 on rentals a year, the report found.
