Three companies bid to run Gila River Arena

With rumors of a possible move surrounding the Coyotes, the City of Glendale announced it has received three bids to run the city owned Gila River Arena.

Three global arena-management companies submitted proposals to become managers of the arena.

AEG Facilities, Spectra by Comcast Spectacor and SMG submitted proposals, which were given to Beacon Sports Capital Partners, serving as a consultant to the city for all arena proposals. All bids were due to Beacon Dec. 18 and only these three were received.
