Upscale fashion retailer Barneys New York at Scottsdale Fashion Square will be closing in May.
The Phoenix Business Journal editorial staff was first tipped off about the closing from an anonymous source.
Emily Kress, marketing director for Fashion Square, and Ashley Calandra, senior director of public relations for Barneys, confirmed the closing, but did not provide further comment.
