Board OKs North Scottsdale condos

The City of Scottsdale Development Review Board on Jan. 21 approved plans submitted by Graythorn Development LLC for a 30-unit condominium development to be constructed at the NEC of 98th Street and McDowell Mountain Ranch Road in North Scottsdale.

Comprising 44KSF of total building area, the project will occupy 4.6 acres of undeveloped land, which had been approved in 2014 for an office project that was never built. The property is separated from an existing single-family subdivision to the north and east by the Verde Canal and berm, which will remain mostly intact and preserved as natural open space, according to city documents.
