Glendale urged to address billboards beyond northern Loop 101

The Glendale City Council is being urged to extend curbs on outdoor billboards to other parts of the city where the structures would be deemed disruptive to the quality of life following establishment of a non-billboard zone along the municipality’s northern half of Loop 101.

“We need to put in place protection for the most vulnerable historic places in the city and consider the scenic views or lack thereof in other districts,” Ocotillo District Councilman Jamie Aldama suggested to his colleagues.
