Report: Maricopa County in need of thousands of skilled workers by 2025

Numbers released Wednesday by Maricopa Community Colleges show the strong need for skilled workers throughout the county by 2025.

Industries like Environmental Technology and Advanced Manufacturing are facing gaps in their workforce over the next decade.

Dr. Carrie Kisker with the organization said the Maricopa Community College system is going to have to fill in those gaps when it comes to training the county’s future workforce.
