Can Coolidge pay for its priorities?

In study sessions, the Coolidge city council is walking a tight rope as they go through a priority list they made months ago, while knowing full well there is no money attached to their choices.

Whether big or small, priorities for the upcoming budget year were discussed, clarified and many cases reiterated for city staff during study session over the past few weeks.

In phase 2 of what they are calling “Priority Based Budget schedule,” department directors met to discuss their priorities along with the priorities set by Council in the 2015 Strategic Plan and those identified in the 2015 Citizen Survey.
