It is not the way 15-year Coolidge City Manager Bob Flatley planned to end his career with the City, but health issues have left him no way forward.
Flatley will officially retire at the end of March, citing health issues that have kept him away from city fall the last few months.
Mayor Jon Thompson confirmed the news on Saturday at Cotton Days, saying Flatley had sent a letter to council and staff saying he will be retiring at the end of the month for health reasons.
