Phoenix Mayor Greg Stanton is asking the city to look at legal options
Phoenix will look at options to fight a controversial bill signed into law Friday by Gov. Doug Ducey that blocks a new downtown business district in Roosevelt Row, Mayor Greg Stanton said.
Ducey approved House Bill 2440 a day after it received its final vote in the Legislature. The bill changes the statewide requirements to form districts for extra municipal services and retroactively affects Roosevelt Row.
