In a deal that shows land values have recovered in the Phoenix market, the Arizona State Land Department has made its highest fee property sale in the Phoenix area in nine years. With a bid of an even $100 million, a joint venture formed by two home builders was the winning bidder on 400 + acres of raw dirt in northeast Phoenix that was sold at a public auction held yesterday by the Arizona State Land Department.
