Flagstaff jail selling ads to attorneys

The Coconino County Sheriff’s Office is taking another swing at an advertising initiative to help pay for inmate services at the Flagstaff jail.

Effective immediately, the Sheriff’s Office will sell advertising space in the Coconino County Detention Facility lobby to private attorneys. For $2,500 a year – about $200 per month – any attorney can post a 14-by-11-inch color poster advertising his or her practice on the wall in the jail’s visitor waiting area. The Sheriff’s Office will provide an acrylic display frame, which will include a holder for business cards.
