Former Chandler Mayor Boyd Dunn to run for utility regulator

Former Chandler Mayor Boyd Dunn announced he will run for one of the three seats opening this year on the Arizona Corporation Commission, which regulates utilities.

The commission has been the center of controversy since the 2014 elections, when Republicans Tom Forese and Doug Little won with the support of more than $3.2 million in “dark money” from independent groups that don’t disclose their donors.
