Another arena deal and Glendale again faces questions about its merits and handling.
The Glendale City Council unanimously approved a new five-year deal with Los Angeles-based AEG Facilities LLC to manage Gila River Arena earlier this week.
The move ends the Arizona Coyotes management of the arena and could prompt a move out of Glendale. A Coyotes move out of Glendale would hurt restaurants and bars at the Westgate Entertainment District next to the arena and leave the city-owned arena without its main tenant.
