The City of Mesa Planning and Zoning Board approved at its March 23 meeting a site plan, which advances what will become the first development 52.4-acre Baseline Mixed Use PAD. Future development of the PAD will include Single Family Residence and Retail components.

Florida-based developer Housing Trust Group wants to build Aviva, a 325-unit gated apartment community located on 16 vacant, undeveloped acres north of Baseline Road and west of the Loop 202 San Tan Freeway in East Mesa. Having built properties in Florida and Tennessee, this will be the developer’s first foray into Arizona.
