Pinal County is in a new era, taking charge of its future instead of waiting for the future to happen, the county supervisors say.
The county used to just be a place people hurriedly passed through on the way to the Valley or Tucson, District 2 Supervisor Cheryl Chase of San Tan Valley said. She said the county must be more careful than ever about its land use decisions.
“Now everyone wants to be part of us, and we want that. But we have to do it carefully, through very careful planning. And we’ve got great partners in this room,” Chase said.
