1 bedroom apartment a lot better deal in Phoenix than in San Diego

Renting an apartment in Phoenix is significantly less expensive than other large western and southwestern markets, according to a new analysis.

Madison, Wisconsin-based real estate firm Abodo.com looked at rental rates across the U.S. in May.

A one-bedroom apartment in Phoenix averaged $781 per month. That is actually down from $841 per month in February, according to Abodo.
