Maricopa and El Mirage are two of the most affordable Valley cities to live in, according to a recent study from financial technology company SmartAsset.com.
The Website ranked the top 10 affordable cities by measuring housing costs relative to income data in cities across the state. The study examined average closing costs, annual property tax, annual homeowner’s insurance and median income.
Maricopa came in at ninth on the list with the average annual mortgage payment of $6,169 and a median income of $65,214, the highest in Pinal County.
