Marcus Foerster only has a few more days to make sure his name gets on the primary ballot in this year’s city council race.
He has until Wednesday to collect about 80 more signatures to complete and submit his petition, making him an official candidate for one of the three open council seats voters will fill in the Aug. 30 primary and the November general election.
Five candidates have already submitted their petitions, according to the Casa Grande City Clerk’s Office, among the 11 individuals who announced their campaign for city council.
