Mesa, ASU finalize downtown-campus plan

Mesa and Arizona State University officials have finalized an agreement to create a $102-plus-million satellite campus downtown

The agrement lays out the proposed campus’ location, scale, degree offerings and estimated cost

It was unanimously approved by the Mesa Council on Thursday and is up for a vote by the Arizona Board of Regents in early June

The plan’s funding mechanisms will require voter approval

Mesa and Arizona State University officials have finalized an agreement to create a $102-plus-million satellite campus downtown, two weeks shy of a June 10 deadline.
