After about five years on the job, Prescott City Manager Craig McConnell plans to leave the city’s top management job.
In a news release and memo to the Prescott City Council Friday afternoon, May 13, McConnell announced that he had given 60-days notice of his resignation, which will be effective July 12.
Along with agreeing to stay on after that for the transition to a new manager, McConnell told the council that he would like to return to his prior position as regional programs manager within the city manager’s office.
