Mark Lamb and Kaye Dickson picked up major endorsements Friday from the Pinal County Deputies Association in their race for sheriff.
Lamb, a Republican, and Dickson, a Democrat, are seeking to replace Sheriff Paul Babeu, who is opting to run in the crowded Republican field in the Congressional District 1 race. Also seeking the sheriff’s office are current Chief Deputy Steve Henry, a Republican, and Democrat Kevin Taylor.
“I’m ecstatic,” Lamb said of the endorsement. “Having their endorsement is an endorsement of my peers and that was one of my top priorities. I’m grateful to have it. It’s something that means more to me than all of the endorsements.”
