Focus on Hispanic experience, agritourism, skydiving, business creation and veterans services

Frontier Street in Eloy was once booming with businesses as State Route 84 was the main thoroughfare for people traveling between Tucson and Phoenix. Travelers would pass through the city’s downtown, patronizing the mom and pop shops with business.
In 1965, Interstate 10 was finished and in its wake, left the city’s once thriving downtown empty. It created a schism between the main traveling route and Eloy businesses. Some moved to Sunshine Boulevard which had freeway access, while others disappeared entirely.
