Local Motors debuts autonomous vehicle that talks to passengers

It’s not quite KITT from “Knight Rider” but a Valley tech company has debuted the first self-driving vehicle that can talk to its passengers.

Chandler-based Local Motors Inc. today introduced the vehicle, which uses the super computing power of IBM Watson.

The low-speed electric vehicle, named Olli, is a shuttle that can carry up to 12 people.
