In four consecutive unanimous votes, the Prescott City Council approved a residential project this week that will bring 215 home lots to northeast Prescott.
Walden Ranch, a project encompassing 227 acres east of the Phippen Museum and south of Highway 89A, got approval on Tuesday, June 21, for its rezoning, development agreement, water service agreement, and preliminary plat.
The rezoning changes the land-use from the previous mixed-use designation to low-medium density residential. Lot sizes are expected to range from 6,600 square feet to nearly 12,000 square feet.
