State regulators give go-ahead for massive 4,500-home planned development

The Arizona Corporation Commission has approved an application by Liberty Utilities to provide wastewater service to a large planned real estate development.

That is the long-planned Zanjero Trails development in Litchfield Park.

It is slated to have just under 4,500 single-family homes and another 4,800 commercial and multifamily units. The development is slated to be built in six phases over 20 years.
