Consumer-products manufacturer Conair Corp. has broken ground on the design-build construction of a new $40 million plus facility adjacent to their existing Glendale campus in the Glen Harbor Business Park.

This pushes the total Conair campus square footage in Glendale to 2.3 million square feet — that’s 52.8 acres under roof. This makes the Glendale Conair Campus the second largest in the Valley behind Intel.

Best known as the maker of curling irons and hair dryers, New Jersey-based Conair plans to complete construction on its new one million square-foot global distribution and e-commerce center by next July.

The expansion also brings an estimated 300 new jobs to Glendale, for a total of 750 Conair employees in Glendale.
