Fitzgibbons may have margin for outright win in Casa Grande

Preliminary results from Tuesday’s primary election had Casa Grande Councilwoman Lisa Fitzgibbons with a good lead.

The councilwoman had 2,521 votes as of Tuesday night out of 13,364 total votes cast for all 10 candidates. Each voter is permitted to select three candidates on the ballot, which suggests that about 4,450 residents voted in the council election.
