See what Gilbert’s seven council candidates have to say about rapid residential growth, economic development and infrastructure, among other key topics.

Gilbert voters on Aug. 30 will decide the fates of two Town Council seats, one of which is guaranteed to be filled by a new face.

Seven candidates — including incumbent Vice Mayor Jared Taylor — are vying for the posts. The two candidates with the most votes will win.

Interim Mayor Jenn Daniels is seeking a full mayoral term in the Aug. 30 election but faces no challengers.
