Maracay community sells 100 homes in 7 months

Maracay Homes’ Center Pointe Vistoso community has sold an average of one new home every 48 hours (100 homes in 200 days) since opening just under seven months ago.

The success of the community, located in the Tucson, Arizona, suburb of Oro Valley, offers a vivid snapshot of the national housing industry’s record-breaking growth, which saw 2016 new-home sales climb 9.3 percent in the second quarter compared to the first quarter, according to the Commerce Department.
